Abstract

This article is dedicated to analyzing the current state and prospects for the application of additive manufacturing technologies in the design and production of electric machines. The relevance of this study is determined by the need to develop electric machines with high energy efficiency, low weight, and complex geometric shapes. The aim of the work is to systematize recent scientific achievements in the application of additive manufacturing methods in the designs of various types of electric machines and to assess their technical advantages. The research methodology is based on the analysis of peer-reviewed scientific articles and conference papers published over the past three years. The results indicate that additive manufacturing technologies enable the optimization of coils, magnetic circuits, and rotor components, as well as improve the energy efficiency and specific power of electric machines. The scientific novelty of the study is substantiated by a comprehensive analysis of the potential of additive manufacturing to enhance electric machine designs. The obtained conclusions hold practical significance for the design of modern electric machines.
